Financial Aid - School of Medicine

The Faculty AMA Foundation, tudent Emergency Loan Fund -This fund was established by contributions from the faculty of the School of Medicine and greatly expanded by American Medical Association Foundation Funds generously provided by members of the Louisiana State Medical Society Alliance (Physicians’ spouses dedicated to the health of Louisiana). Loans to students on a shortterm basis are administered by the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs. Loans are available within twenty-four hours.
