BIOCH 290 - Introduction to Bioinformatics

3 Credits

This course introduces the computational and biological concepts andskills required for the field of bioinformatics. Its is intened to provide an overview of the field of bioinformatics and train both life and computer science students to use commonly used bioinformatics programs. Offered in teh spring semester of even-numbered years. Course Directors: Dr. Eric First and Dr. Marjan Trutschl.
