The objective of this course is to provide an understanding of the underlying philosophy in scientific endeavors and the ethical issues that face scientists. The course will involve detailed discussions about the history of scientific thought, the scientific method, experimentation and data collection, mentoring and current ethical issues. Sessions will include lectures and discussions by faculty and students.
