|
|
1.0 Procedure:
Amendments to the Manual of Procedure may be introduced by voting faculty at regular or special meetings of the Faculty. If a resolution to amend is passed by a simple majority of members present, the Secretary of the Faculty Senate shall present the amendment(s) in writing with a ballot to the voting Faculty within ten days. Ratification requires a three-fifths majority of the votes cast. In order to validate his/her ballot, the Faculty member must sign the outside envelope used to return the ballot. Unless vetoed by the Dean, Chancellor, or President, following written notification of the Faculty’s action, the ratified amendment(s) shall become a part of the Manual of Procedure. |
