Continuing Education Program - School of Medicine

The CME Program at LSUHSC School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to sponsor continuing medical education programs for physicians. The CME Program is managed by the Office for Continuing  Medical Education and the mission of the CME Program is to provide new information that will update current skills, provide state of the art technological training, and/or acquisition of new and innovative skills in the physician’s area of expertise and/or  practice specialty. The primary audience for these efforts is the practicing physician community in the Ark-la-Tex geographic area, but not necessarily limited to this area. Educational opportunities range from a number of symposia, both regional and nationally, to audiovisual materials available by loan to individual physicians.
