OCCT 6632 - Occupation Based Practice II: Mental Health

5 Credits

This course covers the theoretical foundations and frames of reference of occupational therapy used in evaluation and treatment for individuals with psychiatric conditions. Focus is on integrating theory and research evidence into occupation based intervention for clients with DSMIV TR diagnosis. Laboratory experiences will provide opportunities for students to practice evaluation and treatment methods.
