GOALS
Student-centered, independent, experimental study of any aspect of health care relevant to family medicine and comprehensive care that, in the shared judgment of the student and the elective director, can meaningfully enrich the experience, expand the perspective, complement the skills, and/or increase the knowledge of the student.
OBJECTIVE:
The student and elective director will develop a specific research plan of study and medical clinical work to achieve goals. Demonstration of learned skills may be required.
SPECIFIC DUTIES OF SENIOR STUDENTS
To be collaboratively developed by student and preceptor; must be approved by the elective director.
READING ASSIGNMENTS
As appropriate to the subject of study.
