IDSP 240 - Philosophical and Ethical Issues in Science

The objective of this course is to provide an understanding of the underlying philosophy in scientific endeavors and some of the ethical issues that face scientists. The course will involve detailed discussions about the history of scientific thought, the scientific method, ethical issues of involved in using animals, experimentation, and data collection, and current ethical issues.
