ELECT EFAMS - Primary Care Sports Medicine Elective

Goals:
This is a clinically oriented elective with an emphasis on physical examination techniques and specific diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries. The student will have opportunities to participate with their attending physicians in the care of student, recreational, industrial as well as retired athletes with a varied and wide range of MSK issues. There may be opportunities to participate in experiences with athletes even at the collegiate and professional levels as well (i.e. ETBU, LSUS, Centenary College, Grambling State University and the Shreveport Mudbugs to name a few).
