The LSU Health Sciences Foundation in Shreveport

Established for the sole purpose of enhancing development of the LSU Health Sciences Center at Shreveport, the LSUHS Foundation is committed not only to raising funds but also to heighten public awareness of the professional and economic value of the LSU Health Sciences Center at Shreveport to the community, region and state.

The Foundation, a 501(c)3 entity, accepts unrestricted gifts, which are used in priority cases where the need is greatest; restricted gifts, which are used for the purpose designated by the donor for specific programs at the Health Sciences Center; endowed gifts, from which earnings are used for specific purposes such as faculty Chairs and Professorships; and planned gifts made through gifts of stocks, bonds, real estate, life insurance, wills, annuities and trusts.
